Musnad Ahmad 28:251

Yahya ibn Hammad narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said on the day of the Conquest: "It is not permissible for a woman to give a gift except with the permission of her husband."
