Musnad Ahmad 28:293

Muhammad ibn Ja'far and Abdullah ibn Bakr narrated to us, they said: Sa'id narrated to us, from Matar, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "There is no divorce for a man in what he does not possess, and no manumission in what he does not possess, and no sale in what he does not possess."
