Bahz and ‘Affan narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, Qatadah informed us, from Abu Thumamah al-Thaqafi, from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The womb (al-rahim) will be placed on the Day of Resurrection, having a hook like the hook of a spindle. It will speak with a fluent, eloquent tongue, and it will join whoever joined it, and sever whoever severed it." And ‘Affan said: "The spindle," and he said: "With tongues it has."
