Musnad Ahmad 28:305

'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd al-Samad narrated to us, Matar al-Warraq narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, from the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said: "There is no validity to a divorce, nor a sale, nor an emancipation, nor the fulfillment of a vow, regarding that which one does not possess."
