Musnad Ahmad 28:323

'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from 'Asim, from Zirr, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "It shall be said to the companion of the Qur'an: 'Recite, and ascend, and recite with measured tone (tartil) just as you used to recite with measured tone in the world, for indeed your station is at the last verse you recite.'"
