Musnad Ahmad 28:366

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, who said: I heard Wahb ibn Jabir saying: A freed slave of ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr said to him: "I intend to stay this month here in Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem)." He said to him: "Did you leave for your family what will sustain them for this month?" He said: "No." He said: "Then return to your family and leave for them what will sustain them, for I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying: 'It is sufficient sin for a man that he neglects those whom he sustains.'"
