Musnad Ahmad 28:38

Yahya narrated to us, Husayn al-Mu‘allim narrated to us, ‘Abdullah ibn Buraydah narrated to us, from Abu Sabrah, who said: ‘Ubaydullah ibn Ziyad used to ask about the Basin (al-Hawd), the Basin of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he used to deny it, after he had asked Abu Barzah, al-Bara’ ibn ‘Azib, ‘A’idh ibn ‘Amr, and another man, and he used to deny it. Abu Sabrah said: "I will narrate to you a hadith that contains the cure for this. Your father sent me with wealth to Mu‘awiyah, and I met ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr, and he narrated to me what he heard from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and he dictated it to me, so I wrote it with my own hand, and I did not add a letter, nor did I omit a letter. He narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'Indeed, Allah does not love obscenity, or He hates the obscene person and the one who acts obscenely.'" He said: "And the Hour will not be established until obscenity and lewdness appear, and the severing of ties of kinship, and bad neighborliness, and until the treacherous one is trusted and the trustworthy one is betrayed." And he said: "Beware, for your appointed meeting place is my Basin. Its width and its length are the same, and it is as it is between Ayla and Makkah, and it is a month’s journey. In it are pitchers like the stars. Its drink is whiter than silver. Whoever drinks from it a single drink will never thirst after it ever again." ‘Ubaydullah said: "I have not heard a hadith about the Basin more established than this." So he believed in it, and he took the scroll and kept it with him.
