Musnad Ahmad 28:390

Muhammad ibn Mus'ab narrated to us, al-Awza'i narrated to us, from 'Ata', from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Whoever fasts forever, he has not fasted."
