Musnad Ahmad 28:4

'Arim narrated to us, Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman narrated to us, my father said: Al-Hadrami narrated to us, from Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr, that a man from the Muslims asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, for permission regarding a woman who was called Umm Mahzul. She used to commit fornication and she stipulated that she would spend on him. He said: So he asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, for permission, or her affair was mentioned to him? He said: So the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, recited to him: "The fornicator does not marry except a fornicator or a polytheist" [An-Nur: 3].
