Ibn Numayr narrated to us, al-Awza’i narrated to us, and ‘Abd al-Razzaq—I heard al-Awza’i, from Hassan ibn ‘Atiyyah, from Abu Kabshah. Ibn Numayr said in his hadith: I heard ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr saying: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Convey from me, even if it is a single verse. And narrate from the Children of Israel, and there is no blame. And whoever lies about me intentionally, then let him take his seat in the Fire."
