Musnad Ahmad 28:45

Ibn Numayr narrated to us, al-Hasan ibn ‘Amr narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr, [who said]: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "When you see my nation fearing the oppressor to the point of saying to him, 'You are an oppressor,' then they have been abandoned [by Allah]." And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There will be in my nation swallowing up [by the earth], transformation [into animals], and pelting [with stones]."
