Musnad Ahmad 28:455

Yazid narrated to us, Husayn al-Mu‘allim informed us, from ‘Amr ibn Shu‘ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: When Makkah was conquered for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he said: "Restrain your weapons, except for Khuza‘ah against Banu Bakr." So he permitted them until they prayed the Asr prayer, then he said: "Restrain your weapons." The next day, a man from Khuza‘ah met a man from Banu Bakr at al-Muzdalifah and killed him. This reached the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he stood up to deliver a sermon and said: "Indeed, the most hostile of people toward Allah is one who commits hostility in the Sacred Precinct, one who kills someone other than his killer, and one who kills for the blood feuds of the Pre-Islamic Era (Jahiliyyah)." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, my son so-and-so, his mother committed adultery in the Pre-Islamic Era?" He replied: "There is no claim of lineage in Islam; the matter of the Pre-Islamic Era has passed. The child belongs to the bed (the husband), and for the adulterer is the stone (al-athlab)." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is al-athlab?" He said: "The stone. And for the fingers, ten [camels] for each; and for the wounds, five [camels] for each. There is no prayer after the dawn until the sun rises, and no prayer after the afternoon until the sun sets. A woman shall not be married alongside her paternal aunt, nor alongside her maternal aunt. It is not permissible for a woman to give a gift except with the permission of her husband. Fulfill the alliances of the Pre-Islamic Era, for Islam has only increased them in strength, and do not initiate new alliances in Islam."
