Musnad Ahmad 28:516

Ibrahim ibn Ishaq al-Taliqani narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, from Layth ibn Sa’d, ‘Amir ibn Yahya narrated to me, from Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli, he said: I heard ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘As saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Verily, Allah the Almighty and Majestic will single out a man from my nation before the heads of all creation on the Day of Resurrection. He will spread out for him ninety-nine scrolls, each scroll extending as far as the eye can see. Then He will say to him: 'Do you deny any of this? Have my recording scribes wronged you?' He will say: 'No, O Lord.' He will say: 'Do you have an excuse or a good deed?' The man will be dumbfounded and say: 'No, O Lord.' He will say: 'Yes, indeed, you have one good deed with Us; no injustice will befall you today.' Then a card will be brought out for him, in which is: 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger.' He will say: 'Bring him forward.' He will say: 'O Lord, what is this card compared to these scrolls?' It will be said: 'Verily, you will not be wronged.'" He said: "Then the scrolls will be placed on a scale." He said: "The scrolls will be light, and the card will be heavy, and nothing outweighs the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful."
