Musnad Ahmad 28:523

'Affan narrated to us, Yazid bin Zuray' narrated to me, Habib al-Mu'allim narrated to us, from 'Amr bin Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, that a Bedouin came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "I have wealth and a father, and my father wants to exhaust my wealth." He said: "You and your wealth belong to your father. Indeed, your children are from the best of your earnings, so eat from the earnings of your children." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman [he is 'Abdullah bin Ahmad] said: "It reached me that Habib al-Mu'allim is called Habib bin Abi Baqiyyah."
