Hadith 28:524

'Affan narrated to us, Yazid narrated to us, Habib narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who said: "Three [types of people] attend the Friday [prayer]: A man who attends it and engages in idle talk, so that is his portion from it. A man who attends it with supplication, so he is a man who called upon Allah (the Mighty and Majestic); if He wills, He gives to him, and if He wills, He withholds from him. And a man who attends it with silence and quietude, and he does not step over the neck of a Muslim, and he does not harm anyone; so it is an expiation for him until the Friday that follows it, and an addition of three days, for Allah says: 'Whoever comes with a good deed, then for him are ten like it' [Al-An'am: 160]."
