Musnad Ahmad 28:557

Ya'qub narrated to us, I heard him narrating—meaning his father—from Yazid ibn al-Had, from 'Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from his father, from Muhammad ibn 'Abd Allah, from 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amr, that he said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said in a gathering: "Shall I not tell you who is the most beloved of you to me and the closest of you to me in seating on the Day of Resurrection?" He said it three times. He said: We said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Those of you with the best character."
