Qutaybah narrated to us, Rashdin ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from al-Hasan ibn Thawban, from Hisham ibn Abi Ruqayyah, from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no contagion, no superstition, no owl (as an omen), and no envy; and the evil eye is true."
