Musnad Ahmad 28:594

Qutaybah narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, from al-Harith ibn Yazid, from Jundub ibn Abdullah, from Sufyan ibn 'Awf, from Abdullah ibn 'Amr, who said: I was with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and the sun rose. He said: "Allah will bring a people on the Day of Resurrection whose light is like the light of the sun." Abu Bakr said: "Are we them, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "No, and you have much good, but they are the poor and the emigrants who will be gathered from the regions of the earth." And he said: "Glad tidings to the strangers, glad tidings to the strangers, glad tidings to the strangers." It was said: "Who are the strangers, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Righteous people among many bad people; those who disobey them are more than those who obey them."
