Musnad Ahmad 28:600

Yahya ibn Adam and Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, they said: Zuhayr narrated to us, from Ibrahim ibn Muhajir, from Abdullah ibn Babah, from Abdullah ibn Amr, who said: I was with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and deeds were mentioned. He said: "There are no days in which deeds are better than these ten." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad?" He said—and he considered it a great matter—: "Not even Jihad, unless a man goes out with his self and his wealth in the way of Allah, then the blood of his soul is shed therein."
