Musnad Ahmad 28:605

Abdullah ibn Yazid narrated to us, Sa'id ibn Abi Ayyub narrated to us, Abu al-Aswad narrated to me, from Ikrimah, the freed slave of Ibn Abbas, from Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: "Whoever is killed while defending his property unjustly, then for him is Paradise."
