Musnad Ahmad 28:7

Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, ‘Ata’ ibn al-Sa’ib narrated to us, from his father, from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr, who said: The sun eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he stood, and we stood with him. He prolonged the standing until we thought he would not bow. Then he bowed, and he almost did not raise his head. Then he raised it, and he almost did not prostrate. Then he prostrated, and he almost did not raise his head. Then he sat, and he almost did not prostrate. Then he prostrated, and he almost did not raise his head. Then he did in the second rak’ah as he did in the first. He began to blow upon the ground and weep while he was prostrating in the second rak’ah, and he began to say: "O Lord, will You punish them while I am among them? O Lord, will You punish us while we are seeking Your forgiveness?" Then he raised his head, and the sun had cleared, and he finished his prayer. He praised Allah and extolled Him, then said: "O people, the sun and the moon are two signs from the signs of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic. So if one of them eclipses, then hasten to the mosques. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, Paradise was presented to me, until if I wished, I would have reached for some of its branches. And the Fire was presented to me, until I was about to extinguish it, fearing that it would cover you. And I saw in it a woman from Himyar, black and tall, being punished because of a cat of hers; she tied it and did not feed it, nor did she give it water to drink, nor did she let it eat from the vermin of the earth. Every time it approached, it bit her, and every time it turned away, it bit her. And I saw in it the brother of Banu Da’da’, and I saw the owner of the hooked staff leaning in the Fire upon his staff; he used to steal from the pilgrims with his hooked staff, and if they became aware of him, he would say: 'I am not stealing from you; it only caught on my staff.'"
