Musnad Ahmad 26:132

'Ammar ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from Abu al-Ahwas, from 'Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Let one of you protect his face from the Fire, even if it be with half a date."
