Musnad Ahmad 26:149

Waki’ narrated to us, Bashir ibn Salman narrated to me, from Sayyar Abu Hamzah, from Tariq ibn Shihab, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever is afflicted by a need and brings it down upon the people, it is fitting that his need will not be facilitated. And whoever brings it down upon Allah, Allah will bring him a provision, either immediate or by a deferred death."
