Musnad Ahmad 26:18

Amr ibn al-Haytham Abu Qatan narrated to us, al-Mas'udi narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn 'Amr, from Abu 'Ubaydah, from 'Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: That a man came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "When is the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr)?" He said: "Who among you remembers the night of the Sahba'?" 'Abdullah said: "I do, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you. And in my hand were dates that I was eating for Suhur, concealing myself behind the back of my saddle from the dawn, and that was when the moon rose."
