Musnad Ahmad 26:196

Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Isra'il narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu al-Ahwas, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I have indeed considered ordering a man to lead the people in prayer, and then ordering [some] people who do not pray with us, so that their houses would be burned down upon them."
