Musnad Ahmad 26:306

Umayyah ibn Khalid narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu 'Ubaydah, from Abdullah, who said: I came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, Allah has killed Abu Jahl." He said: "Praise be to Allah who aided His servant and honored His religion." And he said once—meaning Umayyah—: "He fulfilled the truth of His servant, and honored His religion."
