Sulayman ibn Dawud al-Hashimi narrated to us, Sa'id—meaning Ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Jumahi—narrated to us, from Musa ibn 'Uqbah, from al-Awdi, from Ibn Mas'ud, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Forbidden to the Fire is every gentle, soft, easy-going person who is close to the people."
