Musnad Ahmad 26:454

Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Isra'il narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, from Alqama, from Abdullah, who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in a cave, when "By the emissaries, sent forth one after another" (Al-Mursalat) was revealed. He said: We were receiving it directly from his mouth, when a snake came out of its hole. We rushed toward it, but it beat us to it and entered its hole. He said: "It was protected from your evil, and you were protected from its evil."
