Katheer narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Nafi’ ibn Jubayr ibn Mut’im, from Abu ‘Ubaydah ibn ‘Abdullah, from ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ud, who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and we were detained from the Dhuhr, ‘Asr, Maghrib, and ‘Isha prayers. This weighed heavily upon me, then I said: We are with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) and in the path of Allah. Then the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) commanded Bilal, so he performed the Iqamah for the prayer, and he led us in the Dhuhr prayer. Then he performed the Iqamah, and he led us in the ‘Asr prayer. Then he performed the Iqamah, and he led us in the Maghrib prayer. Then he performed the Iqamah, and he led us in the ‘Isha prayer. Then the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) went around among us, then said: "There is no group on the earth who remember Allah (the Almighty and Majestic) other than you."
