Ibn Numayr narrated to us, al-A‘mash narrated to us, from Shaqiq, who said: I heard ‘Abdullah say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said a word, and I said another. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever dies while associating anything with Allah, he enters the Fire." And I said: "Whoever dies while not associating anything with Allah, he enters Paradise." And Abu Bakr agreed with him, from ‘Asim, contrary to Abu Mu‘awiyah, narrated to us by Aswad.
