Musnad Ahmad 26:510

Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from Abu Wa'il, who said: Abdullah used to remind us every Thursday. It was said to him: "We wish that you would remind us every day." He said: "I dislike that I should make you bored. Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pace the exhortation for us, fearing that we would become weary."
