Musnad Ahmad 26:535

Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Sufyan and Shu'bah, from Mansur, from Abu Wa'il, from Abdullah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: "It is a wretched thing for one of you to say: 'I forgot such-and-such verse.' Rather, he has been made to forget."
