Musnad Ahmad 26:615

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu ‘Ubaydah, from ‘Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) passed by me while I was praying, and he said: "Ask, and you shall be given, O son of Umm ‘Abd." ‘Umar said: "I and Abu Bakr hastened, but Abu Bakr preceded me to him. And we have never hastened toward any good, except that Abu Bakr preceded me to it." He (the Prophet) said: "Indeed, among my supplications which I hardly ever omit is: 'O Allah, I ask You for a bliss that does not perish, and a coolness of the eye that does not end, and the companionship of the Prophet Muhammad in the highest part of Paradise, the Garden of Eternity.'"
