Musnad Ahmad 26:657

Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Hakim ibn Jubayr, from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, from his father, from ‘Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever asks while he has what suffices him, his asking will come on the Day of Resurrection as scratches—or wounds—on his face." They said: "O Messenger of Allah, and what is his sufficiency?" He said: "Fifty dirhams, or its equivalent in gold."
