Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan and ‘Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Zubayd, from Ibrahim, from Masruq, from ‘Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "He is not of us who strikes the cheeks, tears the collars, and calls out with the call of the pre-Islamic era (Jahiliyyah)."
