Waki’ narrated to us, Bashir ibn Salman narrated to us, from Sayyar Abu al-Hakam, from Tariq, from Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever is afflicted with poverty and brings it to the people, it is unlikely that his need will be fulfilled. And whoever brings it to Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, Allah will grant him a provision, either soon or by a destined death."
