Waki’ narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from ‘Ammar bin Mu’awiyah al-Duhni, from Salim bin Abi al-Ja’d al-Ashja’i, from ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The son of Sumayyah was never presented with two matters but that he chose the more guided of the two."
