Musnad Ahmad 26:700

Waki’ narrated to us, Isra’il narrated to us, from Simak ibn Harb, from Ibrahim, from ‘Alqamah and al-Aswad, from ‘Abdullah, who said: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I met a woman in the orchard, and I embraced her, touched her, kissed her, and did everything with her, except that I did not have intercourse with her." He said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, remained silent regarding him. Then this verse was revealed: {Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember} [Hud: 114]. He said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, called him and recited it to him. ‘Umar said: "O Messenger of Allah, is this for him specifically, or for all the people?" He said: "Rather, it is for all the people."
