Bahz and ‘Affan narrated to us, they said: Hammam narrated to us, Qatadah narrated to us, from Khallas and Abu Hassan, from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Utbah, that he used to frequent Ibn Mas‘ud regarding a woman whom a man married, then he died. He mentioned the hadith. He said: Then al-Jarrah and Abu Sinan stood up and testified that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, judged accordingly regarding them, concerning the Ashja‘ ibn Rayth, regarding Buru‘ bint Washiq al-Ashja‘iyyah, and the name of her husband was Hilal ibn Marwan. ‘Affan said: He judged accordingly regarding them, concerning the Ashja‘ ibn Rayth, regarding Buru‘ bint Washiq al-Ashja‘iyyah, and her husband was Hilal ibn Marwan.
