'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Israel informed us, from Abu Ishaq, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, who said: I returned from 'Arafah with Ibn Mas'ud. When he reached Muzdalifah, he prayed Maghrib and 'Isha, each of them with an Adhan and an Iqamah, and he had supper between them. Then he slept. When someone said, "Dawn has broken," he prayed the Fajr prayer. Then he said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'These two prayers were delayed from their time in this place. As for Maghrib, people do not arrive here until it is dark. And as for Fajr, this is the time [for it].'" Then he stood. When the sky became bright, he said: "If the Commander of the Faithful is correct, he will depart now." He said: 'Abdullah had not finished speaking before he [the Commander of the Faithful] departed.
