Musnad Ahmad 26:819

Sulayman ibn Hayyan narrated to us, Al-A'mash informed us, from Ibrahim, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid, who said: "Abdullah [ibn Mas'ud] threw the pebbles at the Jamrah from the bottom of the valley." I said: "The people do not throw from here." He said: "By the One besides Whom there is no god, this is the standing place of the one upon whom Surat al-Baqarah was revealed."
