Yunus narrated to us, Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, from ‘Asim, from Zirr, from Ibn Mas‘ud, who said: "I took seventy surahs directly from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and no one disputes with me regarding them."
