'Attab narrated to us, 'Abdullah and 'Ali ibn Ishaq narrated to us, they said: 'Abdullah informed us, Musa ibn 'Ali ibn Rabah informed us, he said: I heard my father saying, from Ibn Mas'ud: That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to him on the night of the Jinn, and with him was a decayed bone, a piece of dung, and a piece of charcoal. He said: "Do not perform istinja (cleaning oneself after relieving oneself) with any of these when you go to the privy."
