Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Shayban narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, from Ubaydah al-Salmani, from Abdullah ibn Mas’ud, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The last of the people of Paradise to enter Paradise, and the last of the people of the Fire to exit the Fire, is a man who comes out of the Fire crawling. Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, says to him: 'Go and enter Paradise.' He approaches it, and it is made to appear to him as if it is full. So he returns and says: 'O Lord, I found it full.' He says: 'Go and enter Paradise.' He says: He approaches it, and it is made to appear to him as if it is full. So he returns and says: 'O Lord, I found it full.' He says: 'Go and enter Paradise.' He approaches it, and it is made to appear to him as if it is full. So he returns to Him and says: 'O Lord, I found it full'—three times. He says: 'Go, for you have the like of the world and ten times its like,' or 'ten times the world.' He said: He says: 'O Lord, are You mocking me while You are the King?'" He said: It used to be said: "This is the lowest of the people of Paradise in status."
