Musnad Ahmad 26:845

Hassan ibn Musa narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Asim ibn Bahdalah, from Zirr ibn Hubaysh, from Ibn Mas’ud, regarding this verse: {And he certainly saw him in another descent, at the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary} [An-Najm: 14]. He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I saw Gabriel (peace be upon him) and he had six hundred wings. There were scattering from his feathers various colors: pearls and rubies."
