Musnad Ahmad 26:879

Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Sulayman, who said: I heard 'Abdullah ibn Murrah, from Masruq, from 'Abdullah, that he said: "He is not of us who strikes the cheeks, tears the collars, or calls out with the call of the pre-Islamic era (Jahiliyyah)." Sulayman said: And I think he attributed it to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
