Musnad Ahmad 1:25

Hassan ibn Musa and ‘Affan narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from ‘Ali ibn Zayd, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, from ‘Aishah: That she recited this verse while Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, was judging: "And a fair-skinned one, through whose face rain is sought, the springtime of the orphans, a protection for the widows." Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "That, by Allah, is the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
