Musnad Ahmad 1:5

Muhammad ibn Ja‘far narrated to us, he said: Shu‘bah narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Khumayr, from Sulaym ibn ‘Amir, from Awsat, who said: Abu Bakr addressed us and said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) stood in this place of mine last year. Then Abu Bakr wept and said: Ask Allah for *al-mu‘afah*—or he said: *al-‘afiyah* (well-being)—for no one has ever been given anything better after certainty than *al-‘afiyah*—or *al-mu‘afah*. Adhere to truthfulness, for it is with righteousness, and both of them are in Paradise. Beware of lying, for it is with wickedness, and both of them are in the Fire. Do not envy one another, do not hate one another, do not sever ties with one another, and do not turn your backs on one another. Be brothers, as Allah has commanded you.
