Musnad of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (RA)
مسند أبي بكر الصديق (1) رضي الله عنه
Hadith 1:7
Abu Kamil narrated to us, he said: Hammad—meaning Ibn Salamah—narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Atiq, from his father, from Abu Bakr al-Siddiq: That the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The siwak is a purification for the mouth, and a means of seeking the pleasure of the Lord."
حدثنا أبو كامل، قال: حدثنا حماد - يعني ابن سلمة -، عن ابن أبي عتيق، عن أبيه عن أبي بكر الصديق: أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " السواك مطهرة للفم، مرضاة للرب " .
