Musnad Ahmad 1:9

'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, he said: Ma'mar narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah: That Fatimah and al-'Abbas came to Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, seeking their inheritance from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. At that time, they were requesting his land in Fadak and his share from Khaybar. Abu Bakr said to them: "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: 'We are not inherited from; what we leave is charity. The family of Muhammad only eats from this wealth.'" And I, by Allah, will not leave any matter that I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, doing regarding it, except that I will do it.
